<\/div>[vc_column_text css=””]The Observatory on Corruption and the Development of Transparency in Morocco was created by Transparency Maroc in 2007 with financial support from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Morocco. It later received funding from the European Union Delegation in Morocco for two years (February 2011 \u2013 January 2013), followed by financial support from Transparency International.
\nAt a later stage, the Observatory was supported by the British Embassy in Rabat as part of the Arab Partnership Program.[\/vc_column_text]

      • Raised awareness among local elected officials on transparency in local governance;<\/li>\n

      • Carried out advocacy efforts to promote good governance and best practices among elected officials and supervisory authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Collected, categorized, and analyzed information related to corruption, transparency, and good governance in Morocco;<\/li>\n
        • Organized reflection workshops to encourage dialogue on corruption and related issues;<\/li>\n
        • Published newsletters, press reviews, and reports;<\/li>\n
        • Established partnerships with research centers and academic institutes;<\/li>\n
        • Encouraged research on the topic of corruption;<\/li>\n
        • Held six training sessions for local elected officials across six regions;<\/li>\n
        • Produced a diagnostic and advocacy document on local governance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
