The project aimed to establish a national network of civil society organizations (CSOs) to strengthen institutional accountability through several key objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthening the role of CSOs and citizens in monitoring public policies through the use of information and communication technologies;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributing to greater democratic accountability of public institutions and enhancing parliamentary oversight and meaningful participation in budgetary processes;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Practically implementing laws protecting victims and whistleblowers of corruption and ensuring the legal follow-up of complaints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This three-year project (2021\u20132023) focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishing a national network of CSOs to enhance institutional accountability;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthening the capacity of CSOs to use digital tools for advocacy, monitoring, and legal protection;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitoring the state budget, particularly the health and education sectors, through digital tools;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modernizing tools for reporting corruption cases in both the public and private sectors;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enhancing the role of Transparency Morocco\u2019s anti-corruption legal assistance centers (CAJAC) as a means of mobilizing citizens, disseminating legal information, and unifying various actors in the fight against corruption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
